Participant Waiver

This waiver covers you, any participant under 18 you register, and every Chatter Snow activity — not just time on snow.

By signing, you release Chatter Snow, its organizers, and its volunteers from liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation.

People are seriously injured and killed doing these activities. Risks include falls, collisions, variable snow and weather conditions, equipment failure, and other inherent hazards of snow sports.

Two things worth stating plainly: Chatter Snow organizers are volunteers — not ski patrollers or certified instructors. Gear-library equipment is provided as-is and has not been professionally inspected.

You're responsible for honestly assessing your own skill level and physical condition before joining an activity. Follow organizer instructions, ride within your ability, and use gear that fits and suits the conditions.
